Firstie Parents Honored at Flag Ceremony-May 3, 2009
Congressman Paul Tonko honored both the Astemborski and Butner Families today at a flag ceremony in recognition of their son's upcoming graduations from West Point this May.

Thank you very much for the package that was sent to the soldiers in Manda Bay, Kenya. Due to some logistical problems, the mail that came in this past week was our first resupply in a long time. You could see the faces of the soldiers really brighten up knowing that they were going to have some fresh toiletries to use and snacks to munch on. Thanks again on behalf of 1st Platoon, B/2-18 FAR.
